Salon Coordinator

Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Jess is a graduate of Manor College and Mother of three beautiful children. Jess is the warm, welcoming face behind each friendly phone call and is there to greet every client that walks through the Salon’s doors. Jess has a unique natural talent for making everyone feel appreciated for the entirety of your visit to Odyssey Hair Studio. Jess says, “I always look forward to scheduling their next appointment!”

Senior Stylist | Extension Specialist | Balayage Specialist

Mollie was the first person to complete the Odyssey Training Program. Trained by Owner Alexis Hoban, Mollie was trained to work her magic with scissors and a razor. Studying one-on-one with some of the East Coast’s top color instructors, she has learned many tips and tricks of the color world. Mollie is an extension specialist and loves highlighting and balayage. She loves living in color! Mollie has worked with highly talented stylists on events such as weddings and fashion shows. She is excited to share ideas and learn from her team members.

Master Stylist | Curl Specialist

He has been behind the chair for over 16 years, delivering precision and excellence in every facet of hair. Joey’s passion is making people feel confident about themselves through style and beauty. He feels very blessed and fortunate to be a part of such a rewarding career. Joey has multiple certifications through Redken and is now a Redken Artist. Joey is also an advanced curl specialist with years of specialized training . When not behind the chair, he is spreading knowledge and providing the tools to help other salons around the country learn and grow with Redken. He excels in Balayage, Highlights, Color, Cuts and Barbering. One thing that will never change is his commitment to advanced education while learning the latest techniques and trends. He takes pride in his work and it is his goal to enhance every client’s experience!”

Stylist

Sydney was the second person to complete the Odyssey Hair Studio, learning everything from Cutting, Precision Razor Cutting, Balayage, and Color Techniques. Sydney has found a love for Razor Cutting and Balayage. She has a love for transforming people’s hair in every way possible and making them feel like their best selves. She is looking forward to learning new tricks from her team and sharing her skills with everyone else.

Senior Stylist | Deva Curl Specialist

Tim has been in the hair industry for just over 10 years. His passions include curly hair, textured hair, dreadlocks, fantasy colors and education. Before joining Odyssey in 2020 Tim guest-taught at the Capri institute and at the Paul Mitchell school at the Jersey shore. Tim’s color work has been featured in Modern Salon magazine. Always looking to advance his career Tim is on the forefront of advanced education classes. From curl specialist to Redken color professional he has the skills needed to give all of his guests their desired look. Tim has a passion to deliver the best service possible to all of his guests, making them feel sexy and confident once they leave his chair.

Stylist

Annalise has been part of the Odyssey Hair Studio team for over 3 years. She was behind the desk greeting clients that walked through the door for her first year. This experience inspired her love for hair. Annalise decided to pursue her cosmetology license after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management from Thomas Jefferson University. Annalise has graduated Odyssey Hair Studios advanced training program, she is always practicing and advancing her skills. Her growth behind the chair has been an exciting journey. Annalise prides herself in her consultations while making sure every client feels welcomed and leaves looking their best!

Business Manager

Dan Hoban, Business Manager of Odyssey Hair Studio.  Dan’s entrepreneurial spirit dates back to his childhood of cutting grass and shoveling snow for neighbors.  Growing up in Philadelphia working in almost every service Industry imaginable Dan knew one day he would one day be in business for himself.  In 2016 Dan and Alexis decided to open Odyssey Hair Studio.  The first space was opened in May of 2016, located at 1016 Pine street.  With Alexis’ passion for the Hair Industry and Dan’s drive to build a growing business, together over the course of 2-years they expanded Odyssey from a 6-chair 800 sq. ft. space to a 12-chair 1600 square foot studio in Center City Philadelphia.  “I think that what we have to offer at Odyssey is different, the space is unique, the stations are custom and the passion from the people that work here is real”.   Our job is to support the dreams of the people who decide to put their careers in our hands.
